My most recent background in the planning and implementing of digital strategic campaigns has been in the music field, but since 2008, as can be seen here in my portfolio or my LinkedIn profile, I’ve also worked on strategic campaigns in science, education, health, fitness, transportation, film and community affairs. I have learned from every campaign it’s imperative that each organization or company be represented by professional, responsible, proactive and consistent individuals with expectations of high quality results. I am a self-motivated, thorough, innovative, and driven graduate in public relations who realizes long-term success is achieved through quality relationships established both internally between the individuals and departments of an organization and externally between the cumulate organization and its targeted demographics.
My positions have included such functions as representation, public relations, strategic planning, marketing, event coordination, production of media materials, distribution, among others. These skills contributed to team and personal accomplishments such as having the UNICEF Utah Tap Project recognized in the New York Times, preparing and executing the re-branding of BYU’s record company just prior to national notoriety of BYU Vocal Point on NBC’s “The Sing Off” (thus capitalizing on that opportunity ensuring its success), and being among the top performing representatives invited back to New York to represent both the internship’s efforts and results to Sony Music Entertainment executives.
I am confident these skills will also enable me to contribute to the strategy and new media success of any organization or company I have the privilege to be a part of.
